New addition to Family Christmas Display

Snoopy vs the Red Baron FULLY PAINTED (except for the white snoopy base) from Atlantis Models. You can build this without paint but it looks much cooler if you paint it up!!!:

There's a new resin kit out there, recently available on Ebay with an amazing likeness of Uncle Gilbert from the Munsters episode "Love comes to Mockingbird Heights". Be aware though to make this look nice there is much clean up work involved before painting, but the outcome is worth it. Here is the final buildup:

Many new 3D figures are coming out, check them out on Ebay and elsewhere, these are great for individual display or add them to your diorama with other plastic and resin kits. I just painted up some 3D Lost In Space characters from season one. The likenesses are most amazing on several of the characters. I did some prep work, sanding etc, matched them to a colorized version of season one, and did some special effect shading to create some realism:

Clint Eastwood in his trilogy of the Man With No Name...what an excellent sculpt and here it is built up. Added a nameplate:

Just completed a very large project, The Time Machine Morlock Fight Scene. These kits are from Monsters In Motion. Several kits are put together to create the ultimate scene. I merged, or should I say married, the Morlock kit with the larger base as they are separate kits. The base of the Morlock kit was redesigned and fitted using Super Sculpey. Here it is just after a final protective coating sprayed.

One of my favorite comedy shows of the 60's, The Beverly Hillbillies. Here's the MPC Model Hillbillies Truck. Enhanced with 3D printed characters of Jed, Jethro, Ellie Mae, their dog Duke and of course Granny. You can get these 3D figures on Ebay. You will need to adjust the legs to fit. Having the figures makes a huge difference, much better than just having the truck. I had this model for many years but never was inspired to build it until the figures came along. Much thanks to Ebayer Shaftman216:

Not many know this (including myself until requested to build it), but the pink panther had a panthermobile. It showed up in the 1969 Pink Panther cartoon at the beginning intro to the show. A really cool model although quite expensive because of its rarity. Here it is completed and airbrushed for a nice affect:

An artistic look at The Phantom of the Opera bust kit:

Silent Running with Bruce Dern...here are the droids, added lighting for each. A really cool movie, check it out if you can:

Once in awhile I do drawings or sketches although not lately, but here's one I did a while back and just happen to come across it when visiting the home where it is mounted. Its a view of a portion of the Atlantic City Boardwalk from a perspective just off the boardwalk on the beach. It shows how it had looked when I drew it in 2004 with Trump Casino on the boardwalk. I believe it has been demolished. Disclaimer, this is not in anyway a political statement! Done in color pencil.

One of my favorite shows of the 60's, The Green Hornet. Here is the Black Beauty with 3d generated figures of the Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato (currently available on Ebay as of the time of this writing).

Currently building Silent Runnings Droids. Here are the first two, Huey and Dewey. Still need to do Louie. I have added a light kit for each. Bottom piece of the droid has a magnet system in place to be able to replace the battery when needed.

Merry Christmas to ALL...introducing, drumroll please, the 2020 DiCosimo family Christmas model display...these are all resin model kits made I believe in the 1990s by some amazing sculptors and include the shows of Rudolph, Heat and Snow Miser and young Santa and his penquin:
