Anyway, please enjoy all the past posts to this blog.
Builder of vintage model kits.
Snoopy vs the Red Baron FULLY PAINTED (except for the white snoopy base) from Atlantis Models. You can build this without paint but it looks much cooler if you paint it up!!!:
There's a new resin kit out there, recently available on Ebay with an amazing likeness of Uncle Gilbert from the Munsters episode "Love comes to Mockingbird Heights". Be aware though to make this look nice there is much clean up work involved before painting, but the outcome is worth it. Here is the final buildup:
Many new 3D figures are coming out, check them out on Ebay and elsewhere, these are great for individual display or add them to your diorama with other plastic and resin kits. I just painted up some 3D Lost In Space characters from season one. The likenesses are most amazing on several of the characters. I did some prep work, sanding etc, matched them to a colorized version of season one, and did some special effect shading to create some realism:
Just completed a very large project, The Time Machine Morlock Fight Scene. These kits are from Monsters In Motion. Several kits are put together to create the ultimate scene. I merged, or should I say married, the Morlock kit with the larger base as they are separate kits. The base of the Morlock kit was redesigned and fitted using Super Sculpey. Here it is just after a final protective coating sprayed.
Once in awhile I do drawings or sketches although not lately, but here's one I did a while back and just happen to come across it when visiting the home where it is mounted. Its a view of a portion of the Atlantic City Boardwalk from a perspective just off the boardwalk on the beach. It shows how it had looked when I drew it in 2004 with Trump Casino on the boardwalk. I believe it has been demolished. Disclaimer, this is not in anyway a political statement! Done in color pencil.
